NFL Honors Finalists Revealed as Pro Bowl Additions Round Out Super Bowl Week

With Super Bowl week underway, the NFL has announced finalists for its top individual awards while continuing to adjust Pro Bowl Games rosters due to injuries and Super Bowl participation.

As the league transitions into Super Bowl week, the NFL’s annual awards cycle and Pro Bowl Games activity have taken center stage. Finalists for the 2025 season’s most prestigious honors were announced ahead of the league’s primetime awards show, while several teams received late Pro Bowl roster additions.

The NFL Honors ceremony will take place on Thursday, February 5, at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. The event will air at 9 p.m. ET on NBC and NFL Network, with streaming available on Peacock and NFL+.
Finalists for AP Most Valuable Player include Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence, Drake Maye, Christian McCaffrey, and Matthew Stafford.
Defensive Player of the Year finalists include Will Anderson Jr., Nik Bonitto, Myles Garrett, Aidan Hutchinson, and Micah Parsons.
The Offensive Player of the Year field features Maye, McCaffrey, Puka Nacua, Bijan Robinson, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Rookie of the Year finalists span both sides of the ball, while Coach of the Year nominees include Ben Johnson, Kyle Shanahan, Mike Vrabel, Liam Coen, and Mike Macdonald.

Alongside the awards announcements, Pro Bowl Games rosters continued to shift. Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and Green Bay Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon were added as replacements, rounding out a busy week that bridges the Pro Bowl, NFL Honors, and Super Bowl preparations.
